Get Outta Town, 2025

$6,200.00

By Cristina Doyle
Mixed media mounted on canvas
200 × 170cm

Large rectangular canvas makes a striking showstopper. Compiled from acrylic paint, charcoal and paper cut-outs, this painting guides the viewer on a lively journey past neon and street lights into intriguing, shadowed corners. Paint is applied with energy and gusto — splattered, layered and streaked — creating vibrant textures and motion. The deep black background allows pinks, blues, oranges and reds to leap forward from the scene, offering layered, ambiguous signals about the traveller’s viewpoint. Designed to command attention, this work functions as a compelling focal point in a contemporary home interior.
