Bound, 2026

$1,295.00

By Cristina Doyle
Mixed media on paper mounted on canvas
64 × 89 cm
Unframed

Bound is a texture-lover’s piece, combining a variety of handmade Japanese papers with splattered paint and thick, painterly brushwork. Each element — layered papers, bold marks and tactile surfaces — contributes to the rhythmic energy and movement of the composition. Titled Bound because the disparate parts are linked together, the work reads like a strung parcel, where every fragment is connected to form a cohesive, resonant whole.
