Inspired bytwilight from the balcony of my home, Sunset Boulevard is an atmospheric piece coloured by nature itself. Incorporated into the work are pieces of cyanotype paper that were exposed to the sun and have therefore turned rich blue permanently. The palette of orange, yellow, pink and blue reflects the colours I witnessed that evening and features throughout the painting. This tall, narrow artwork is ideal for slim vertical spaces such as stairwells and passages, or it can be displayed as part of a gallery of art on a striking feature wall. Sunset Boulevard is framed in white timber and is ready to hang.
