Hadrian Bowl, 2025
By Cristina Doyle
Handmade stoneware vessel with underglaze and clear glaze
Suitable for food use
One of a unique series of five mid-size bowls with a history theme. This particular bowl is inspired by Hadrian, who built a beautiful villa in Tivoli and hosted lavish banquets there; no doubt he used bowls of this size for feasting. Warm and hearty, this bowl is ideal for serving generous helpings — think lots of grapes or shared antipasti — and it brings a sense of fun to entertaining. Beautifully hand-painted, each bowl is one-of-a-kind and cannot be replaced.
