Hand sculpted stoneware clay with five underglazes and clear glaze
Docklands and Backstreet, 2026 are a pair of small but highly detailed glossy ceramic wall plaques. These compact works bring a subtle three-dimensional presence to an interior, enlivening walls with texture and colour. They are particularly well suited to bathrooms and can also be used outdoors, being waterproof and very stable. Their stability comes from having been fired twice; the final clear glaze both protects the surface and intensifies the underglaze colours beneath. Each plaque is simple to hang, with nail holes located at the top for easy installation. These small sculptural pieces make a striking display either paired together or shown individually.
