This subtle coloured acrylic painting on canvas is a reaction to the use of gaudy colour in my previous work entitled: Betty’s Baubles.
I opted for muted tones, texture and pattern and line to wrap and label.
New brush techniques such as rolled on paint were used to create soft changes in tone and touch.
Why is it called Around and Back?
Line work guides the viewer around the composition.
